As Samon's disapperance is noticed and put to be investigated it shows her living in a land where she meets another girl. A girl who was also murdered. As the investigation proceedes her murderer scrambles to hide evidence. Soon narration of Samon is brought back speaking of her spirit that travels. As her bracelet stands as her life, her spirit is brought to drown, but travel to new places. She realizes she has to look forward and move on from earth because she's dead. Anger rages within her family as they deal with their daughter's death. Her body in the movie still hasnt been found. Samons murderer felt safe because no one suspected him. Samon finally moves on after she feels her father is reassured that she is safe in her own little world. Her family soon starts developing Samon's pictures to see if they can find clues; the father starts to put his foot in with helping out the ivestigation by pin pointing neighbors that could possibly be the murderer. Grandma comes to help the family cope with their lose. The movie gives the story a slight humourous side to brighten up the story, but there are always moments when the sadness is brought back. Suspicion of the murderer is when Samon's younger sister runs into him. Samon introduces the other sides of her murderer who would live in moments of his evil. The movie brings out and shows more emotion from the characters. The narrator practically sees her family grow and fall without her. The photos come into great play for a determined father as he now sees pictures of his daughters murderer. There's just a great big connection between the daughter and her father as he comes close to solving the case. In the end the movie brings you to noticed how entied how the family is.

Summary:
Lovely Bones written by Fran Walsh &Directed by Peter Jackson starts off as a narrative show of the main character talking about her past life as it plays but she is talking from her present state which is death. She introduces things in her life that she paid more attention to like the swirl hole and this boy she liked. She had her suspicions of being in danger but her grandmother told her "they say a person who saves one life lives a long time". Through all that Mr.Harvey was watching her. He stops her on her way home to show her his new creation; during the narration we get a glimpse of a man sketching out something that looks like its going to be built underground. Thats were Samon's nightmare occurs. Ruth Conars a female that plays an important tag along role feels the presents of Samons spirit trying to find home. Soon the movie starts to potray off the narrators vision as a spirit seeing her murderer.
